The publishing tool behind NOIR LEDGER.
noirledger is a private desktop application. Its operator uses it to prepare, schedule and evaluate the documentaries published on the NOIR LEDGER YouTube channels.
What the app does
- Sets the title, description, tags, thumbnail, subtitles and publishing time of videos the operator has uploaded in YouTube Studio.
- Maintains the channel description, banner and keywords.
- Reads statistics and analytics of the operator's own videos (views, watch time, click-through rate, audience retention, traffic sources, comments) to improve future episodes.
Who can use it
noirledger is not a public service. It runs on the operator's own computer and is connected only to YouTube channels the operator owns or manages. There is no sign-up, no hosted account and nothing to download.
How it accesses YouTube
The app uses YouTube API Services through Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0). It asks for three permissions: managing the signed-in YouTube account, viewing the account, and viewing YouTube Analytics reports. What happens with that data is described in the Privacy Policy; the conditions of use are in the Terms of Service.
